Having sold out her first ever debut solo concert in her native Donaghmore, Bardic director and performer Stephanie Faloon is thrilled to be adding a second night to 'An Evening with Steph and Friends.' Her first concert on Saturday 22 October has sold out within weeks of going on sale and now another date has been added for Sunday 23 October.
Having just returned home from Perm, Russia where she was on tour with the Bardic Theatre production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan," Stephanie is now adding the finishing touches to what promises to be an evening to remember, as she prepares with her band under the musical direction of Damien Cullen.
"This is something that I have been encouraged to do this past couple of years but never gave it much initial thought until more recent months" Stephanie said "and yet here we are, much to my delight, adding a SECOND night! I am so appreciative and thankful to everyone who has purchased a ticket, it's truly an honour to put this evening together for you along with some of my best friends from Bardic who will join me for a sing-song or two throughout the evening”.
From her raw and passionate renditions of some of rock's biggest and well known anthems from artists such as Journey and Queen to the musical theatre catalogue of Blood Brothers, The Sound of Music to Les Miserables it's easy to see why a full band solo concert was the next natural step to showcase her tremendous talents that seem to have no end.
It’s not just electric guitar lead anthems, soft rock ballads and show tunes that will be on show, Stephanie will also pay homage to our own grassroots artists like Dolores Keane, Phil Coulter whilst moving on to those further afield like Adele, who Stephanie coincidentally cites as her biggest influence, king of modern day crooning Michael Buble. This really is an evening with something for everyone and is not to be missed.
Tickets for the added night of 'An Evening with Steph and Friends' on Sunday 23rd October are available from Bardic Theatre Box Office at Stewart's Music Shop, Tel: 028 87 761 859 and here
