THIS PERFORMANCE TAKES PLACE AT PORTADOWN TOWN HALL

South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association is delighted to have been awarded funding under the EU’s Peace IV Programme and part of the project they are including a play.

AFFLUENCE, a comedy play by Welsey Burrowes. This play has been a sell-out at The Market Place Theatre, Armagh and at The Grand Opera House, Belfast. 

The comedy is set on the island of Duck, where people hold beliefs because their father, grandfather & great grandfathers held them. The need for change is considered to be impertinent to the natural order, and the earnest efforts of professional peacemakers and international do-gooders are seen to be about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. 

This production is not to be missed and it will break the ice for a series of planned workshops that demonstrate our shared interests.
